Dear Mrs. Graham, I have always liked and enjoyed seeing your work, at the Desoto Arts League, and on line. Ithink you have a “visceral” style that I could “savor would it be edible” , feelings I sometimes get from rich paint or even looking at a blank canvas. I got my BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in “82, paint watercolor in a different style, but have always envied the looseness some painters achieve , such as yourself. Congratulations on your new addition to your family, and I hope that if this slows your production of work , that you’ll have future time and wherewithal to so produce. Sincerely,
Thank you very much, Christopher! I too, envy artists who are able to paint more loosely than myself. It is the greatest challenge of many a watercolorist!
